Framework: A Page Group Show

October 27, 2024 – January 2, 2025 

Framework is a group exhibition that celebrates the remarkable talents of Page Austin staff. The show brings together work by 13 artists, showcasing a diverse range of mediums, including photography, painting, collage, drawing, linocuts, and mixed media works. The grouping reflects a dialogue between the artists, each channeling their unique perspectives and experiences. Stark contrasts and balanced geometries create a sense of harmony amidst chaos, while materials, including scraps of paper and urban detritus, reflect the artists' techniques and their explorations of the natural environment. From evocative portraits that capture the depths of human emotion to dreamlike vignettes born from years spent observing the world at a bustling construction site, the works depict ephemeral moments that may often go unnoticed, encouraging viewers to observe and appreciate the often-overlooked details of everyday life.
